板状刚玉是一种纯净的、不添加任何添加剂而烧成收缩彻底的烧结刚玉，具有结晶粗大、发育良好的α- Al2O3晶体结构，Al2O3的含量在99%以上。呈板片状晶体结构，气孔小且闭气孔较多，而气孔率与电熔刚玉大体相当，纯度高，体积稳定性好，极小的重烧收缩，高耐火度，高耐腐性，高耐冲刷性，高耐热震稳定性，强度高韧性好，化学性能稳定，主要应用于中高档耐火材料，用以生产的耐材或浇注料高温处理后具有良好的热震稳定性和抗弯强度。
Tabular corundum is the purified sintered corundum without any additives with the large crystallization and good α- Al2O3 crystal texture. (over 90% Al2O3 content). With the characteristics of high purity, good bulk stability, small reheat shrinkage, high refractoriness, high decay resistance, high washing resistance, high thermal shock stability, high strength, good toughness, stable chemical prosperities, it is mainly applied in medium and high-class refractory materials. The made refractory products and castables have the good thermal shock stability and bending strength after high temperature processing.
